4

Navigate to the charger

Tap the Navigate button to open Google Maps with directions to the charger location.

5

Start charging

Most operators require their app to start a session. Scan the QR code on the charger or select the charger in the operator app to begin.

6

Monitor your charge

Track progress in the operator app. Charging slows down as your battery fills up. Unplug when you reach your target level.

7

Move your vehicle when done

Free up the charger for the next EV driver once your session is complete. Some operators charge idle fees for vehicles left plugged in.

Common Connector Types

Type 2 (AC)

Standard AC connector used by most EVs. Typically 7–22 kW. Found at most public chargers in Singapore.

CHAdeMO (DC)

Older DC fast charging standard. Found at some chargers. Mainly used by certain Nissan and Mitsubishi models.

Charging Etiquette

Only park in an EV bay while charging. Move when done.
